
Isael Cajun
Bio
Isael Cajun serves as Lead Project Supervisor/Manager at Moore Belize LLP, bringing extensive experience in assurance, internal audit, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Belize (ICAB) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Isael’s professional background encompasses both internal and external audit, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on risk, controls, financial reporting, and organizational governance. During his tenure as an Internal Audit Senior, he was involved in the execution of multi-year internal audit plans, risk and control assessments, audit program development, and evaluations of internal controls, including SAP access and application controls. He also prepared executive-level internal audit reports and led special investigations, addressing complex matters requiring sound professional judgment and discretion.
His experience with Deloitte further strengthened his expertise in external audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio of clients. In addition to his professional audit experience, Isael has served as Chairman of an Audit Committee, providing strategic oversight and guidance at the board level and further developing his understanding of effective governance and risk oversight.
In his current role, Isael combines his technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to deliver high-quality audit and advisory services. He works closely with senior management, regulators, and board-level stakeholders, bringing a practical and risk-focused approach to engagements and helping clients strengthen their governance, controls, and overall organizational performance.
